George Orwell thought that “autobiography is only to be trusted when it reveals something disgraceful. A man who gives a good account of himself is probably lying.” So he, at least, might enjoy this contribution - a fictionalised account of some random memories. Which, as Proust tells us, is how we construct our reality.
